For Brian, this issue is deeply personal. As a father of five daughters, including one who lives with cerebral palsy, he has seen firsthand the challenges, resilience, and determination of students and families navigating disabilities. His daughter has shaped his understanding of what advocacy truly means and what is at stake when schools fall short of meeting students’ needs.
As a school board candidate, Brian is committed to ensuring that every student with a physical or mental disability has access to the resources, support, and opportunity to learn, grow, and reach their full potential with dignity and respect. This commitment is not political it comes from lived experience and a determination to do what is right for every child.
